What makes us different?

• We feel that if you pay us to take your pictures, you should have access to them. We'll provide a private website that you can preview and approve, then you and your guests can download the full size digital images from. We'll also give you a DVD with all your photos.
• You and your guests can order color-accurate professional quality prints at prices close to popular consumer photo labs. Yup, you read that right. We want you and your guests to enjoy the photography you paid for! You will have professional quality and none of that typical sticker shock after the event when you and your guests want prints.
• Our lab guarantees the prints and backs them by wonderful customer service. They usually respond to e-mail in minutes. See the full list of print items, explanations, and shipping.
• If you have to cancel your special occasion, the last thing you need to worry about is losing money on photography you aren't getting. We will refund your payment minus any expenses we might have already incurred.

We're newlyweds ourselves and love to do weddings. We'll capture your favorite poses and tell the story and emotion of your event as your photojournalists.

We also keep track of vendors who we feel deliver our high standard of quality and service so feel free to ask questions and we'll do what we can to help.

• We bring the studio to your home or company. Enjoy your photo shoot in your own environment or location of your choice.
• Worried about budget? Feel free to gather as many friends as you want as part of the same shoot. That's right. We'll do the studio photography for all of you for the same price.
• Talk to us about large groups or school pictures. We offer low per person sitting fees.
• We take several shots of each person, family, or group (as many as we can for the time you ask for) and you aren't limited to any fixed packages. Choose whatever photos you like, offer full sized downloads to your friends, family, and associates, and order whatever selection of prints you want.

Great unique gift idea: A home fashion shoot makes for a great birthday party for the ladies and young ladies. They can dress up and see themselves as they would in a fashion magazine.

Home/Building/Structure Shots, Catalog/Internet Shoots

We'll take nice shots of houses, buildings, and structures for your personal or marketing purposes.

Catalog, print or online, shoots work the same as the studio shots above. We can represent your items in your desired mood or lighting. We can work with props or locations as might be appropriate for your needs.

Our special opening pricing for any kind of photography

• Prices include work by Ian and Andrea, getting to know you, customizing our photography for your needs, often both of us on location, and basic digital editing afterwards.
• Full day for weddings includes free engagement shoot.
• Depending on your photography needs, there may be additional charges (ie: background paper for modeling shoots, travel and lodging, extra digital editing requests like teeth whitening, blemish removal etc.).
• On location studio setup/teardown takes about an hour.
• Print pricing? For full list, put something in the cart and see (you can delete it later). Popular sizes, 4x6 $0.30, 5x7 $1.50, 8x10 $4.50. Yes, you are reading that right.
• For big events, depending on your needs, we recommend and can provide a third or more photographers. It makes a difference!
• Have special needs? We're here for you. Talk with us about custom pricing needs including assistance with albums, prints on canvas, frames, or other specialty items.

We started Photography by MacKenzie because we love photography and we love helping people realize those special times and seeing your smiling faces when you see your precious moments captured on screen or print. We're dedicated to providing you with quality, professional service, and a customer satisfaction focus.

We don't want to be so busy that we can't give you that kind of personalized and enthusiastic attention you deserve. People tend to see our service and pricing and we've quickly become popular so our schedules tend to fill up.

Please check around, look at other photographers and come back to us if you feel we are the best fit for your needs. If we feel for your special needs that we may not be the best for you, we will happily refer you to someone better suited.

Payments

• We accept payment online including credit cards via PayPal or checks, money orders, and certified checks.
• After our consultation, pay for estimated additional expenses and at least half the fee to reserve your date.
• Pay any remaining balance by two weeks before the shoot starts.
• If you have to cancel, let us know and we'll assess expenses so far and apply a refund of the remainder.
• We will work with you on any special arrangements for your needs. The duration of some shoots cannot be predicted in advance, especially big catalog shoots.

We end up doing a fair number of free shoots because we often have our cameras with us. People keep asking so in answer, if you are especially happy with our work, paid or otherwise, you can leave tips here as well. You are under no obligation nor expectation to do so ... and thanks!
